The ETC this year is held at the Frans Otten Stadium in Amsterdam, my "home" venue away from home, from 1st to the 5th of May. Since it is the anniversary of the Dutch Squash Federation, all three divisions for both men and women will be playing here on the 21 squash courts. It has the potential to be a great experience for all of us.
The Norwegian team is now stronger then ever, and we are basically playing with a full club team from Hafrsfjord Squash Klubb from Stavanger.
1. Kim Are Killingberg (8 national gold)
2. Kristian Solhaug ( 4 national gold, 6 silver)
3. Ronny Aasbø, (4 national gold, 1 bronze)
4. Hans Olav Torgersen ( endless gold medals, also european gold 3. div.)
5. Sindre Roaldsøy (Double gold ;)

We are drawn against Slovenia and Israel in pool A. Looking at all the teams, we are by far in the toughest group as far as I know. Luckily, I don't know that much. The problem is that these two teams did not play the ETC last year, and therefore has to play in 3. division again, starting with no seeding. If I would predict the top three teams from looking over them in the beginning, I would put all three teams from our pool on the top 3 spots.
I know the Slovenian no1 Martin Mosnik is a strong PSA player, but for the rest, I do not know the other players. Israel has produced several strong players both in senior and junior level, but has fallen off the map these last years, so I have no idea what team they are sending. With their best players they could go all the way.... Meaning 2nd place. As the gold medal this year is branded Norwegian
Hoho, Norway with the flag of Great Britain...!
